Cookies Policy
What this site stores in your browser, why it stores it, how long it stays, and how to change your mind at any time.
Version 1.0 · In force from 14 August 2026 · Last reviewed 14 August 2026
The short version. Out of the box this site stores two small preference values in your browser and nothing else. No advertising trackers, no social pixels, no cross-site profiling. Analytics run only after you press "Accept all", and you can withdraw that at any moment by clearing this site's data in your browser.
01What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. Local storage works similarly but the value stays in the browser and is never transmitted with each request. Both let a site remember something between page loads.
This policy covers both, plus any comparable technology, and uses the word "cookies" loosely to mean all of them — which is also how the ePrivacy rules treat them.
02Our approach
We keep this deliberately minimal. A marketing website does not need to know who you are, and we have no interest in following you around the internet. So:
- Nothing that requires consent is loaded before you give it.
- Rejecting analytics costs you no functionality whatsoever.
- Ignoring the banner is treated exactly like rejecting — silence is not consent.
- We do not use "cookie walls": the whole site works without accepting anything.
03Strictly necessary items
These are set without consent because the site cannot honour your own choices without them. They are stored in your browser's local storage, are readable only by this website, and are never sent to us or to anyone else.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| pf-cookie-consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you pressed "Accept all" or "Essential only", so the notice is not shown on every page. | Until you clear site data (reviewed after 12 months) |
| pf-motion | Local storage | Remembers whether you switched animations off using the "Motion" control in the footer. | Until you clear site data |
Both values are simple words such as all, essential, on or
off. They contain no identifier, no account reference and nothing that could be
linked back to you personally.
04Analytics cookies
If you press "Accept all", we may load Google Analytics to understand which pages are read, how visitors arrive, and where they give up. This tells us what to improve. It does not tell us who you are.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another so visits can be counted without identifying anyone. | Up to 24 months |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Maintains session state for the specific analytics property. | Up to 24 months |
| _gid | Google Analytics | Distinguishes browsers within a 24-hour window. | 24 hours |
Where analytics are enabled we configure IP anonymisation, disable advertising features and data sharing, and set data retention to the shortest practical period. If you press "Essential only" or close the notice, none of these are ever created.
Google Ireland Limited acts as our processor for this service. Some processing may take place on servers outside the EEA, safeguarded by the European Commission's adequacy decision and Standard Contractual Clauses.
05Third-party content on this site
We embed almost nothing from other domains. The exceptions are:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces used across the site are requested from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com. Google states that no cookies are set by these font requests; your IP address is necessarily visible to the font server, as it is for any resource loaded across the internet. - Outbound links — links on the contact page, such as the map link and any messaging shortcuts we publish, take you to third-party sites which apply their own policies once you arrive. We do not embed them, so nothing from those services loads unless you click.
There are no embedded videos, social feeds, chat widgets, comment systems, heatmaps or session recorders anywhere on this site.
06What we do not use
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn or other social tracking pixels.
- No cross-site or cross-device profiling.
- No fingerprinting techniques.
- No sale or sharing of any data with data brokers.
07Managing or withdrawing your consent
Your choice is stored in your own browser, so withdrawing it is entirely in your hands:
- Open your browser's site settings for this website (usually the padlock icon in the address bar).
- Choose "Cookies and site data" and clear it for this site.
- Reload the page. The notice will appear again and you can make a different choice.
Withdrawing consent stops any further analytics collection. It does not delete statistics already gathered in aggregated form, because those no longer identify anyone.
You can also opt out of Google Analytics across every website using Google's browser add-on.
08Browser-level controls
Every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies and storage entirely. The relevant settings are:
- Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies
- Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
- Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Blocking storage on this site means your cookie and motion choices simply cannot be remembered, so the notice will reappear on each visit. Nothing else breaks.
09Legal basis
Strictly necessary items are stored under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Latvian law, which permits storage that is essential to provide a service the user has explicitly requested — here, remembering the preferences you set.
All other storage, including analytics, is placed only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. Consent is freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous, obtained through an affirmative action, and just as easy to withdraw as it was to give.
10Changes and contact
If we add or remove a technology, we update the tables above and revise the version and date at the top of this page. Where a change requires new consent, the notice will reappear so you can decide again.
